Easy Slow Cooker Dog Food with Ground Turkey and Veggies

Ingredients 

  • 3 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 1/2 cups brown rice
  • 1 15 ounce can kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 1/2 cups sweet potato peeled and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups carrot peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup green beans chopped
  • 3 1/2 cups water

Instructions 

  • Add all ingredients to a large slow cooker and stir with water to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4.
  • Let cool completely before serving to your pup.

I am excited to try this recipe! we decided to start making our own dog food since the last 2 bags of food we have purchased have had alot of crushed dog food in them almost like powder and our pups won’t eat it even if we mix their canned food with it. I know they are going to go bonkers over this. I honestly thought it would be very time consuming but how easy is a crockpot.
