I love the recipe but I’m still quite unsure how much I should feed my 2 dogs every day. I have a 100 pound black lab and a 30 pound corgi. I know how many calories to feed them but I’m still unsure how many calories this whole recipe is so I know how to portion it.
We recommend talking to your vet.
What is the serving size?
The serving size will depend on the size of your dog.
I have slow cooker on my instant pot. Can I reduce to cook time 1 hour Thanh you
You should be able to. I would just keep an eye on it.
Been making dog food on the stove . The crock pot is a great idea . Will try today !
can I use the same recipe but cook in instant pot instead?
We haven’t tried this in the Instant Pot, but I am sure you can find a way to make it work.
My dog loved it!
My 8-year old Frenchie loves this recipe. Question for you – if you want to omit the rice how much water should I add?
We haven’t tried it without the rice, so I’m not sure what would work best. You may have to try it a few times to get the right mix.
The recipe shows 20 servings – how much is one serving?
I cup per serving!
I want to try this as part of my overweight dogโs new diet (supplemented with kibble). The rice will be added uncooked, right? I am not the best cook and so I follow everything to the letter in fear of messing up.
Correct! It will cook in the slow cooker.
I am so excited! Just made this for my 2 and 1/2 year old Golden Retrievers- they are going to love it!!
Whatโs the feeding amount?
We would suggest asking your vet because it will depend on your dog’s size and diet.
