Honey Butter Skillet Corn is a super simply side dish recipe that is made in under 15 minutes. It’s made with frozen corn, honey, butter and cream cheese. That’s it!

Corn is a simple dish that most moms serve up to our families throughout the year. Typically, we throw it in a little butter and salt for an easy side dish! This recipe adds in honey and cream cheese for a creamy, sweet and delicious recipe that doesn’t add anymore time or dirty up more dishes!

Ingredients Needed for Skillet Corn

Ingredients for Honey Butter Skillet Corn
  • Butter
  • Honey
  • Frozen Corn
  • Cream Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Parsley (optional)

How to Make Honey Butter Skillet Corn

In a large skillet, melt together the butter and honey.

Then, add in the frozen corn and stir over the medium high heat for 6 to 8 minutes.

Next, add in the cream cheese and cook for an additional 4 to 5 minutes. Allow the cream cheese to melt.

Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Produce Moms Tip: The corn will become thicker the longer it sits, if you do not want it to be real thick, cut back on the amount of cream cheese.

  • ½ stick butter salted
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions 

  • In a large skillet, melt together the butter and honey.
  • Add in the frozen corn and stir over the medium high heat for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Add in the cream cheese and cook for an additional 4 to 5 minutes, to allow the cream cheese to melt.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
