Produce isn’t just for people! Some produce items are safe and healthy for dogs too (click here for a list of safe and unsafe produce items for dogs). Sweet potatoes are a great source of Vitamin A, which can benefit your pup’s coat, skin, eyes, and muscles. They’re also a good source of fiber, calcium, iron, potassium, and Vitamin C. It’s no wonder sweet potatoes are a common ingredient found in dog food.

  1. Hi, I can’t wait for my Rollo to try these Sweet Potato Dog Treats. He gets a dry food made with sweet potatoes mixed with his regular dry kibble, so I am sure he will love it!
How long will these last in the refrigerator, and can they be frozen?
If so, before or after cooking and, for how long?
    Thank you,
    Rollo’s Mom

    1. Yes, you can freeze in an airtight container for a about 2 months. I would say it would be best after cooking! We hope Rollo enjoys them!
