Variations & Substitutions

  • Bean Swap: Navy beans, chickpeas, or butter beans work wonderfully in place of standard white beans.
  • Nutty Twist: Swap the tahini for toasted pine nuts or a splash of smooth cashew butter for a slightly sweeter, buttery depth.
  • Make it Spicy: Blend in a pinch of red pepper flakes, sliced jalapeños, or a teaspoon of harissa paste for a gentle kick.
  • Herbal Boost: Toss in a handful of fresh basil, dill, or parsley before blending to give the dip a vibrant green hue and garden-fresh flavor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this dip ahead of time?

Yes! In fact, the flavors meld together even better after sitting. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Give it a quick stir before serving.

Why should I drain the marinated artichoke hearts?

Draining off the excess liquid ensures your dip stays thick and dip-able rather than runny. If you prefer an extra silky texture, save a tablespoon of the marinade to add back in during blending.

Is this dip vegan and gluten-free?

Naturally! The dip itself is entirely plant-based and gluten-free. Just ensure you pair it with gluten-free crackers, cucumber rounds, or carrot sticks if serving guests with dietary restrictions.

Whether you are hosting a weekend gathering, prepping healthy weekday snacks, or looking for a fresh spin on classic hummus, this White Bean Artichoke Dip is bound to become a staple in your kitchen rotation. Whip up a batch today and watch it disappear in minutes!
