We swap heavy wrappers for fresh produce like crunchy Dandy® celery and vibrant red cabbage. And we boost the flavor with fresh ginger and garlic. It’s naturally light, vibrant, and incredibly easy to customize for low-carb or Keto diets!

Why This Recipe Works: Flavor, Nutritious, and Speed
- 15-Minute Dinner: Seriously fast. Using pre-cooked chicken and quick-cooking vegetables means the total cook time is only about 10 minutes.
- The Umami Factor: The combination of fresh ginger, minced garlic, and savory soy sauce creates that addictive, restaurant-quality flavor profile.
- Healthy & Customizable: This recipe is naturally packed with fiber and protein. If you’re watching carbs, simply omit the rice for a delicious, Keto-friendly stir-fry.
- Produce Power: We get the perfect crunch from the celery and red cabbage, adding essential vitamins and texture to every bite.

Recipe Notes & Easy Variations
- Low-Carb/Keto: To make this recipe strictly low-carb or Keto, simply omit the 1 cup of cooked rice from the ingredients. The cabbage and celery provide enough bulk for a filling meal.
- Protein Swap: This recipe is excellent with ground pork, ground turkey, or even cubed firm tofu (sauté tofu first until crispy).
- Need More Heat? Add a small amount of chili garlic sauce, sriracha, or 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes when you add the soy sauce.
- Vinegar Boost: For a tangy, brighter flavor, stir in 1/2 teaspoon of rice vinegar along with the soy sauce.
- Rice Substitute: Looking for a different base? This recipe is excellent served over Cauliflower Rice or even Zucchini Noodles!
- Produce Tip: For maximum crunch, slice your celery and cabbage thinly!

Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded chicken
- 1 cup chopped Dandy® celery, leave some for garnish
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Directions

Step 1: Build the flavor base.
First, in a large 10-inch skillet or wok over medium heat, combine the shredded chicken, chopped celery, cooked rice (if using), grated ginger, minced garlic, and shredded red cabbage.
Then, stir frequently for about 5-7 minutes. You want the vegetables to be slightly tender but still maintain a great, fresh crunch.

Step 2: Sauce and finish.
Next, pour in the 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Stir everything quickly and thoroughly for about 1 minute more. This allows the flavors to meld and the sauce to lightly coat all the ingredients.

Step 3: Serve and garnish.
Transfer the hot mixture immediately into serving bowls. Finally, garnish generously with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and the reserved chopped celery for extra freshness. Enjoy!
