Sweet Lime Cocktail with Braspberryย Garnish
In many cultures, sweet limesย are popular for their medicinal properties for fighting cold, flu, and fevers. The sweetness you taste isn’t from a higher sugar contentโit’sย from a lack of acidity. Sweet limes are low in acidity but still contain all of the nutritional benefits found in limes and lemons.
Sweet limes are great in cocktails and teas and are wonderful for baking. They provide a sweet citrus flavor without added sugars or simple syrups. When baking with sweet limes, you can reduce your added sugar by 1/3. That’s how sweet they are!
