Ingredients Needed for Homemade Avocado Face & Body Cream

  • 2 avocados (for homemade avocado oil)
  • ⅓ cup grapeseed oil (lightweight, non-greasy moisture)
  • 2 TBSP coconut oil (deep hydration & antibacterial properties)
  • 2 TBSP aloe vera gel (soothing & healing)
  • 1 tsp honey (natural humectant & antibacterial)
  • 2 tsp vitamin E oil (antioxidant & anti-aging benefits)
  • 2 tsp vegetable glycerin (locks in moisture)
  • 4 drops tea tree oil (fights acne & bacteria)

Step 1: Make Homemade Avocado Oil

Mash the avocados – In a bowl, mash the avocado flesh into a smooth paste.
Heat & infuse the oil – Add the mashed avocado and grapeseed oil to a skillet. Heat on medium, stirring occasionally.
Add coconut oil – Once it starts to bubble slightly, mix in the coconut oil and continue stirring for 3-4 minutes.
Strain the oil – Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a bowl. Repeat this process two more times for a pure, clean avocado oil.

Step 2: Make the Avocado Cream

Start with aloe vera – In a medium bowl, stir together aloe vera gel until smooth.
Mix in avocado oil – Add 3-4 TBSP of your homemade avocado oil and stir until well combined.
Incorporate honey – Mix in honey, which helps retain moisture and soothe skin.
Add vitamin E & glycerin – Stir in vitamin E oil and vegetable glycerin to keep skin soft and hydrated.
Final touch: Tea tree oil – Add 4 drops of tea tree oil, which helps fight acne and bacteria, especially for oily skin.
