What is a Hanukkah?
Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday that celebrates a military victory for the Jewish people over foreign rulers over 2,000 years ago. The joyous holiday, also known as the Festival of Lights, celebrates a miracle of one oil burning candle that miraculously lasted for eight nights to help claim victory for the Jews. It is a celebration that lasts for eight nights starting in late November to mid December each year. There are several traditions that take place to celebrate Hanukkah each year. One of the most recognizable is the lighting of the Menorah.
What is a Menorah?
To celebrate the eight nights of Hanukkah, people light candles on a branched candlestick of the menorah. The modern day menorah holds nine candles. Each candlestick represents each day of Hanukkah. Plus, there is a candle called the shamash used to light the other candles. When lighting the menorah, they start with one candle and add a new candle each night.

How To Make An Edible Menorah
Start by building the middle and base of the candle with strawberries. In the center of a plate, line up the strawberries to make a straight line on the plate. At the bottom, make another straight line as the base of the menorah. Then, you can start your building the branches from the base up using the Mighty Blues Blueberries.
Continue to build out the curved branches on each side of the strawberry branch (which should remain an inch taller than the rest).
Place the blackberries at the end of each arm of blueberries as the “candle holders.”
Use the raspberries as the flames above the blackberries to light the Menorah.
