Eat Smart® This Season

Improve your nutritional intake the smart way with Eat Smart® salad kits. These triple-washed salads are easy to whip together and full of tasty superfoods. We love the Eat Smart® Sweet Kale kit, which comes with green cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, chicory, roasted pumpkin seeds, and dried cranberries. And fluffy, crunchy kale, of course!

While the salad kit is tasty enough on its own, it’s perfect for using in other recipes. We love it in this Eat Smart® Sweet Kale, Turkey and Cranberry Sandwich, where it provides a green and wholesome crunch to the stack. The dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds are perfect for a Thanksgiving sandwich, too! Our Eat Smart® Sweet Kale Flatbread Pizza is another unique way to put these salads to use in your kitchen.

Get those leftovers ready! In addition to the Sweet Kale Eat Smart® Salad Kit, you’ll need carved turkey breast, cranberry sauce, and sliced sourdough bread to make this sandwich. We think it’s the perfect way to enjoy your Thanksgiving turkey after the fact, but you can buy carved turkey to enjoy a few of these sandwiches any other time of year, too!

Get your ingredients ready!

Best cooked in a skillet

Cooking this sandwich in a skillet is the best way to get toasty ingredients and crunchy bread. By adding each ingredient to the bread while it’s in the skillet, you’ll allow the sandwich to warm naturally and thoroughly with no cold spots. We love that first bite of a hot sandwich.
