Which apples are best for baking?

Any variety of apple will work great in this easy apple cobbler recipe. We tend to go towards the honeycrisp, gala or fuji varieties from our brand partners at Sage Fruit!

Do I need to peel the apples?

Yes, we suggest peeling the apples for apple cobbler. The recipe is not in the oven long enough to break down the skin to become soft, resulting in a tougher texture.
