Apple and Goat Cheese Crostini
Ingredients
- 1 baguette sliced thin
- olive oil to drizzle
- 1 SweeTango apple sliced thin
- 1/2 lemon juiced and zested
- 4 oz crumbled goat cheese
- 1 tsp fresh thyme chopped (plus more for garnish)
- black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat broiler to high.
- Drizzle both sides of baguette slices with olive oil. Broil for about 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned. Flip and broil the other side.
- Coat the apples in lemon juice (to prevent browning) and set aside.
- Mix the goat cheese, lemon zest, thyme, and pepper together in a small bowl.
- Spread the goat cheese mixture onto baguette slices. Top with apple slices and drizzle with honey. Garnish with a sprig of thyme and plate.
