 Apple and Goat Cheese Crostinis may be a fancy-sounding appetizer, but they’re simple to put together. Just stack the ingredients on individual crostini pieces and bake them. Place a few on individual plates or stack them altogether for serving, then drizzle a bit of olive oil and lemon juice over each one. When the delicious scent attracts your guests, they’ll find these crostinis just as tasty as they look!

Apple and Goat Cheese Crostini

  • 1 baguette sliced thin
  • olive oil to drizzle
  • 1 SweeTango apple sliced thin
  • 1/2 lemon juiced and zested
  • 4 oz crumbled goat cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme chopped (plus more for garnish)
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp honey


  • Preheat broiler to high.
  • Drizzle both sides of baguette slices with olive oil. Broil for about 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned. Flip and broil the other side.
  • Coat the apples in lemon juice (to prevent browning) and set aside.
  • Mix the goat cheese, lemon zest, thyme, and pepper together in a small bowl.
  • Spread the goat cheese mixture onto baguette slices. Top with apple slices and drizzle with honey. Garnish with a sprig of thyme and plate.
