Happy fall ya’ll! As much as we enjoy the long days of summer, we are pretty excited for the cooler days and cozy nights that fall brings. To celebrate the change of season, we’ve created three new smoothie recipes that taste just like fall. Seriously, these are autumn in a glass. Enjoy!

As soon as fall arrived, we jumped right on that pumpkin spice bandwagon. No shame here… we want all the pumpkin everythings! If you’re as pumpkin-crazed as us, you’ll love this Pumpkin Spice Smoothie!

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

Servings1 smoothie

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 banana frozen
  • 4 oz Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • ground nutmeg for garnish (optional)

Instructions 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with a small amount of ground nutmeg.

Caramel Apple Smoothie

When you go to a pumpkin patch or a fall festival, do you head straight to the caramel apple stand? Then you are going to love this next smoothie!

Caramel Apple Smoothie

Ingredients 

  • 1 Honeycrisp apple cored and chopped
  • 1/2 banana frozen
  • 3-4 Tbsp apple juice or cider
  • 6 oz Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1-2 Tbsp granola

Instructions 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and sprinkle top with granola. Garnish with an apple slice, if desired.

Notes

Milk can be used as a substitute for Greek yogurt.

Cranberry Citrus Smoothie

This Vitamin-C boosting smoothie will keep you energized all through fall. And let’s face it, we could all use a little extra energy after binging on Halloween candy and Thanksgiving leftovers. The bright, tart flavors in this smoothie are a welcome change.

Cranberry Citrus Smoothie

Servings1 smoothie

Ingredients 

  • 3 oranges peeled
  • 1/2 cup cranberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 banana frozen
  • 1/4 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish with leftover orange peels, if desired.

Notes

*Oranges can be substituted for your choice of citrus. Tangelos, tangerine, mandarin oranges all work well in this smoothie.
*Greek yogurt can be substituted for cranberry or orange juice.
*Add a few ice cubes if you desire a thicker texture.
