Maybe it brings you back to your grandmotherโ€™s kitchen or to a special family holiday. Paired with a good jam, a slice of bread is a great snack or side for any meal. Thereโ€™s a down-home kind of science to making the perfect bread, but quick bread recipes make it fast and easy to bake a loaf. Baked with sweet, juicy tomatoes, our NatureSweet Glorys Quick Bread and Chia Jam will be a delight at your next festive meal or as a holiday gift to friends and loved ones!

The Not-So-Secret Ingredient: NatureSweet Glorys

Thereโ€™s a good reason weโ€™re using NatureSweet Glorys in both our bread and jamโ€ฆ theyโ€™re great tomatoes! We use NatureSweetโ€™s incredible tomatoes every chance we get. Weโ€™ve shown them off television on Indy Style and even used the containers in fun craft projects. Theyโ€™re our favorite tasty ingredient in our NatureSweet Glorys Quick Bread and Chia Jam!

Picked by growers who care

How does NatureSweet grow such flavorful tomatoes? It lets its principles guide it! When it invests in and cares about its Associates, NatureSweetโ€™s team of growers care more about the food theyโ€™re growing. NatureSweet is doing whatโ€™s right for the people who power every aspect of the company, not just for their profit margin.

NatureSweetโ€™s success also comes from its innovative approach to growing. These growers donโ€™t cut corners. Even if itโ€™s harder or more expensive, theyโ€™re willing to try something new if it could give them a better outcome. Unique growing methods and a willingness to experiment mean NatureSweet brings the best tomatoes to market.

But itโ€™s not all about tomatoes. NatureSweet looks at the bigger picture. It believes one of the most important things it can do as a company is care for the planet. NatureSweets innovations arenโ€™t reserved for better-tasting tomatoes โ€” itโ€™s always looking for more sustainable and Earth-friendly solutions.

Wrapped with love and Glorys

Savory NatureSweet Glorys Quick Bread and Chia Jam

Making NatureSweet Glorys Quick Bread and Chia Jam is easy. Itโ€™s one-of-a-kind flavor will be ready to enjoy in no time! Unlike traditional breads, quick breads donโ€™t use yeast or sourdough starters as leavening agents. They also donโ€™t require a carefully-controlled climate or baking process, meaning theyโ€™re much easier to make. Though theyโ€™re all completely different, cornbread, banana bread, brownies, and cookies are all forms of quick bread.

A fresh, quick, delicious bread loaf

We used NatureSweet Glorys in this quick bread along with asiago cheese for a rich and savory delight. Basil and garlic come along for added flavor. While itโ€™s great to eat it by hand, try slicing it up and toasting it or using it as sandwich buns. We love it with some fresh deli salami – and more asiago cheese, of course!

But in our opinion, this bread is at its best with chia jam. This isnโ€™t your typical jam โ€” cayenne, onion, garlic, and lemon give it a zesty kick while NatureSweet Glorys and maple syrup provide a balancing sweetness and texture. Chia seeds add a boost of nutrition, too!
