Crunch Pak® fresh-cut apples are the perfect way to add more fruit to your kids’ diets (and yours!) without taking more time out of your busy day. But apples aren’t just for slicing and eating. They’re great for cooking, too! Grandma Gray’s Apple Hash is a down-home recipe using Crunch Pak apples that’ll bring smiles to your table. It’s both sweet and savory with that satisfying apple crunch.

Hash Up Some Apples

This hash is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You could even prepare it over a campfire for a hot, fresh meal on a family camping trip! We prepared it using a cast-iron skillet for the fullest flavor possible, but any medium-depth skillet will do.

You’ll need about two bags of Crunch Pak apple slices to make Grandma Gray’s Apple Hash. Cut the apple slices into thirds. They’ll be the perfect size to fry up with your Yukon Gold potatoes and chopped onion.
