Celery is loaded with essential minerals and vitamins such as folate, potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin K and vitamin C. At 10 calories a stalk, celery is low in calories and high in nutrition. It is one veggie that may also help aid weight loss. Celery also has a low glycemic index which means it has a slow and steady effect on blood sugar. This can help prevent spikes and dips in energy. As a whole, eating celery as a whole veggie gives you more fiber so it is a vegetable that is often promoted for weight loss.

As we mentioned earlier, celery juice has a high amount of water and Vitamin A. Both of these are great for our hair. They help keep our scalp hydrated while nourishing the roots and strands. It can also help with hair growth while improving the texture and facilitating growth. Celery juice can reduce inflammation through relaxation in the hair follicles, roots, and scalp.

With the abundance of nutrients found in celery, it can help speed up the hair growth process. The antioxidant properties of celery can also contribute to rapid hair growth. The antioxidant properties in celery juice also help to strengthen the hair which means less breakage and hair loss.
