No Fumble Crockpot Sweet Potato Soup

Begin by peeling and chopping your Wada Farms’ sweet potatoes. Throw them in a slow cooker with white onion, vegetable or chicken broth, garlic, smoked paprika, ground cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook on high for four hours or low for six to eight hours. Once cooked, blend the mixture into a velvety soup. Put the soup back in the slow cooker to keep it warm. 

If you don’t have an electrical outlet at your tailgate party, transport your soup in thermoses or tin mugs. It bonuses as hand-warmers this way!

Instructions
  1. Add sweet potato chunks, chopped onions, broth, garlic, smoked paprika, cinnamon, salt and pepper into a slow cooker. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
  2. Once soup is cooked, blend until desired consistency. Serve hot. Optional: Top with cheese, bacon crumbles, parsley, crackers.
