Let’s face it. We all get into a food rut. We continue to make the same meals over and over until we are burnt out and go to Google or Pinterest (if you aren’t following us, will you follow us pretty please?) to look for inspiration.

This Homemade Blueberry BBQ Sauce is perfect for serving with chicken, pork chops or even ribs! We hope that you will add this new bbq sauce recipe to your arsenal.

What does Blueberry BBQ Sauce Taste Like?

We believe that this blueberry bbq sauce is better than any store bought version. If you begin to look at the ingredients that are in condiments, you will notice there is a lot of added sugar. With this Blueberry BBQ Sauce recipe there is just a little bit of added sweetness with the brown sugar. The blueberries themselves are sweet, so you won’t need much else.

Can I use blueberries that I have frozen?

If you choose to use frozen blueberries for this Blueberry BBQ Sauce Recipe, be sure that you put them in a bowl of warm water to thaw them out. Be sure to drain the blueberries and pat dry before placing into the skillet. The added water from the blueberries will result in a runnier consistency.
