Caprese salad is a Produce Moms’ favorite! From classic Caprese salad to Caprese pasta salad to tropical avocado Caprese salad, it’s always a hit in our book! This time, we’re back with another twist on this favorite: Grilled zucchini Caprese salad.
Small Change, Big Impact!
Caprese salad is a classic Italian dish made with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil. We kept that traditional base and simply added tender slices of grilled zucchini. This small change makes a big impact!
The grilled zucchini pairs perfectly with slices of juicy tomatoes, delicate mozzarella, and sweet basil. Olive oil, balsamic, and a pinch of black pepper and kosher salt bring all the flavors together. We opted for a balsamic glaze, but balsamic vinaigrette is an excellent choice too.
