How to Make Green Beans with Chickpeas Crisped in the Air Fryer

Chickpeas in the air fryer

Air Frying the chickpeas: Make sure that your chickpeas are dry so that they will get crisp in the air fryer. First, rinse and drain the chickpeas. Then, let them dry on paper towels (usually for about 45 minutes). Air fry the chickpeas for 12 to 14 minutes at 380 degrees, shaking the basket every few minutes. When they are crunchy and golden brown, they’re done.

Season the chickpeas: In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, and salt. Pour the chickpeas into a bowl, spritz with olive oil, and season with spices while they are still hot.

French beans in a pan

Preparing the French Beans: In a grill pan, add a tablespoon of olive oil and add in the French beans. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, turning once, until charred or barely tender (approximately 3-4 minutes).
