Two bunny strawberry parfaits

Strawberry Parfaits are a perfect dessert recipe in the spring time as Strawberries are in season! These Easter Bunny Strawberry Parfaits are sure to be a hit with kids young and old! It’s also a great recipe to get kids to “play” with their food. Often times when children are involved in the kitchen, it motivates them to eat the ingredients as they are making their own food. It’s a win, win as you are entertaining the kids and keeping them busy, even just for a few minutes!

We wanted to make these Strawberry Parfaits a quick and easy dessert recipe that doesn’t involve a lot of fuss. However, should you wish to make your own pound cake or whipped cream, we support it!

How to Make Homemade Whipped Cream

If you’ve never made homemade whipped cream, I strongly suggest it. It’s such a quick and easy recipe. In my opinion, homemade whipped cream also tastes better than the store bought version.

You’ll need:

  • 1 C Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2  TBSP Powdered Sugar
  • 1 TSP Vanilla Extract

In a large bowl, whip together the heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract with a hand or stand mixer until a peak holds onto your beater. This typically takes about 3-4 minutes on a high speed.
