How to Make a Basil Lime Raspberry Champagne Cocktail
Begin by making a basil-lime-raspberry simple syrup. To do so, combine the juice of one lime, sugar, and water in a saucepan and bringing it to a boil. Once boiling, remove the mixture from the heat and add in basil and raspberries.
Allow the syrup to cool completely and then combine it with cold blush champagne in a large pitcher. Add a few fresh raspberries to each champagne glass and garnish with lime wedges and fresh basil.
Did you know? One cup of raspberries is only 52 calories, offers 7 grams of fiber (that’s more than a bran muffin), and is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants!
