If you’re looking for a light, refreshing salad you have landed on the right recipe! Tropical Avocado and Strawberry Salad is fresh and bright — perfect for spring and summer lunches or autumn picnics.

Tropical Avocado and Strawberry Salad

Tropical avocados are naturally double or triple the size of typical avocados, which means less time peeling and slicing and more time enjoying! They boast a slightly lower fat content (10.06 grams per serving), which gives them a lighter, sturdier texture, making them great for slicing and dicing. Learn more about tropical avocados here.

Tropical Avocado and Strawberry Salad is a cinch to make. Start by dicing your tropical avocado into bite-sized cubes. Drizzle the cubes with olive oil and then sprinkle on a bit of salt. Let the cubes chill in the fridge for about thirty minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare you other ingredients. Slice strawberries and place them on a bed of baby spinach. Add a bit of sliced red onion. Add the chilled tropical avocado. Sprinkle everything with feta cheese and drizzle with your salad dressing of choice. We suggest lemon poppyseed.

Produce Moms Tip: If you like more crunch in your salad, add almond slivers or walnut pieces.
