Can I Make Slow Cooker Lasagna With Cottage Cheese?

Yes, in Italian dishes like this one, cottage cheese, and ricotta cheese is pretty interchangeable. However, there is quite a difference in water content. There is a wetter consistency in cottage cheese compared to ricotta. So, if you decide to substitute this recipe with cottage cheese, I recommend draining the excess liquid just in case.
