Ingredients Needed to Make Slow Cooker Lasagna
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tsp garlic, minced
- 2 c tomato sauce
- 1 6 oz tomato paste
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 12 lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 15 oz. ricotta cheese
- 2 c fresh spinach
- 2 c mozzarella cheese
How to Make Slow Cooker Lasagna
To start, place the beef, onion, and garlic into a large skillet.
Secondly, add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, and Italian seasoning once the beef is fully cooked.
Thirdly, cook and take off the heat.
Next, in the slow cooker, add lasagna noodles. (break them to fit into the cooker)
Afterward, add a layer of ricotta, using half of the cheese.
In addition, add 1 cup of spinach.
Furthermore, place half of the prepared meat and top with an additional layer of noodles and the rest of the meat, ricotta, and spinach.
To finish, top with mozzarella.
Finally, allow the recipe to cool for 4-6 hours on low or 2-3 hours on high.

Instructions
- In a large skillet brown beef, onion and garlic.
- Once meat has cooked through add in tomato sauce, tomato paste and italian seasoning.
- Heat the meat mixture and remove from the heat.
- In the slow cooker place lasagna noodles, you will have to break them to fit your slow cooker.
- Next, layer in half the ricotta.
- Top with 1 cup of fresh spinach.
- Add another layer of lasagna noodles.
- Layer with half the meat mixture.
- Add another layer of lasagna noodles and top with remaining meat mixture, ricotta and spinach.
- Top with shredded mozzarella.
- Allow the lasagna to slow cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours.
