Thereโ€™s nothing quite like a homemade apple pie. Sure, store-bought pies are still tasty, but they donโ€™t compare to one thatโ€™s been whipped up with love and care in your home kitchen. And itโ€™s easier to do than you might think!ย

How to Make Made-From-Scratch Apple Pie

Celebrating a holiday, a special occasion, or just a simple meal spent with family? Make it even more memorable with an apple pie! This anytime-dessert is delicious at any meal in any season.ย

Our Made-From-Scratch Apple Pie has a little secret: it uses premade dough! We find that refrigerated store-bought dough is just as good as homemade. It saves a little time, too. After all, the magic is in the filling!ย

This scratch-made filling uses 3 pounds of fresh apples, all cored, sliced, and peeled. A bit of cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar and some time in the oven turns them into a sweet, gooey, and irresistible treat. When you pull it from the oven, your home will fill with that sweet apple pie scent that will bring your family running to the kitchen. These instructions are timeless, so you can make apple pies (or apply them to other kinds of pies) time and time again!ย
