History was made yesterday!
The Find Your Favorite School Show presented by The Produce Mom® and the Indianapolis Colts took place yesterday at an Indiana elementary school.
The Indianapolis Colts and a few of the Find Your Favorite™ heroes played engaging games with the school children, teaching them about “finding their favorite” fruit or vegetable, learning the More Matters messaging and discovering a healthy and well-balanced diet through the MyPlate standards.
It was a spectacular show and I loved watching the kids interact with all the participants! The Find Your Favorite heroes really are a constant encouragement for the students to try new fruits and vegetables and to “Find Their Favorite.”
Following the show, the students were able to sample a variety of fruits and vegetables, some they have never tried and some they have never heard of! I love when the kids come up to me with a turnip in their hand and say, “These rock!” That means that the Find Your Favorite School Show did exactly what it was meant to, encourage the consumption of fruits and vegetables! I can’t wait to see where the Find Your Favorite National Launch takes me!
