Caramel Apple S’mores

This recipe is sponsored by Applewood Fresh.
S’mores are a classic campfire treat. Filled with warm, gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate, they make the perfect sweet snack on a brisk fall evening. But if you want to add s’more flavor to these sweet sandwiches, then try these Caramel Apple S’mores! They combine the best of s’mores and caramel apples for one incredibly flavorful treat, especially when you use the luxurious SweeTango apple to cap each end.
How to Make Caramel Apple S’mores
Caramel Apple S’mores are easy to make! They do require a little bit of prep beforehand, though. Rather than simply tear open a new package of graham crackers, you’ll need to slice up your SweeTango apples. If you’re getting them ready before you bring them out to the fire, try sprinkling a small amount of lemon juice on the slices to keep them from browning.
Once you’re at the fire, start by placing chocolate on top of half of your apple slices. Toast the marshmallows (or have your kids toast them) and place them on top of the chocolate. Then just add the caramel and sea salt and squish it all together with another apple slice!

I was hesitant about these, but they are delicious. I think I like them better than with graham crackers.
