How to make bacon-wrapped apples
Bacon-Wrapped Apples
Ingredients
- 1 12 oz bag Crunch Pak Honeycrisp apple slices
- 1 lb bacon
- hot honey to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Cut bacon strips in half horizontally. Wrap a strip of uncooked bacon around each apple slice.ย
- Place bacon-wrapped apple slices on a baking sheet with a wire rack. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with hot honey. Serve with additional hot honey for dipping (optional).

Enjoyed these as is. Has anyone tried this with Granny Smith or Macintosh apples? Since the apples arenโt peeled, cutting them with an apple slicer wonโt add much time. Going to try them with alternate apples. Also, will par cook the bacon a bit in the microwave, hubby hates raw bacon. If theyโre a hit, will make again with a small piece of Brie wrapped with the apple. Will let you know how they turn outback. Thanks for the inspiration!
