October is here! It’s time to scare up some cool costumes, get busy carving jack-o-lanterns, and cover your house in ghostly decor. But even in the cool weather, all that work is exhausting! So to sate our appetites and celebrate Spooky Season, we made a ghoulishly good snack tray featuring one of our favorite apple varieties. We think your family will love this SweeTango® Halloween Charcuterie Board, too!

We’re frightfully fond of October’s apple harvests, and what better way to celebrate than with SweeTango® apples? Featuring a hint of citrus and honey, this apple is perfect for snacking out of hand or slicing up for this charcuterie board! It’s the delightfully crispy star in this tray’s creepy cast, pairing particularly well with the sweet caramel apple dip. We cut ours into both wedges and rounds for snacking variety.

Sliced SweeTango apples

The SweeTango® Halloween Charcuterie Board is all about fun and spooky shapes. We’ve put eyes on our white yogurt covered pretzels for a ghostly look and gave our mozzarella cheese sticks a ghoulish demeanor, as well! We also added the shapes of spirits with slices of white cheese and the presence of pumpkins with yellow. Our salami and pepperoni slices were cut into leaf shapes to complete the fall theme.

Cheese Ghosts

A tray with no candy treats would be a monstrous trick! We used a wall of wrapped caramels to create a “dish” of candy corn, one of our Halloween favorites. To top off this terrifyingly tasty tray, make a bat-infested guacamole bowl. It’s perfect for scooping with crackers, which you can also use to scoop other treats. We like to top a cracker with cheese, salami, and a SweeTango® apple slice for a bite that’s both sweet and savory.
