Homemade Trail Mix To Fuel Your Adventures - The Produce Moms

The Produce Moms is proud to partner with the Produce for Better Health (PBH) Foundation. Together we can eat more fruits and veggies! #HaveAPlant

Summertime is outside time! Fuel your outdoor adventures with delicious and nutritious fruits and vegetables. Homemade trail mix can be assembled using fruits, veggies, and nuts which provide a body with the nutrients it needs to stay active.

Trail mix is convenient too! Mix up a large batch and store it in an airtight container. Divvy up daily portions into smaller containers for each family member. Zip-top bags of trail mix fit easily into a backpack, purse, diaper bag, or even a back pocket!

From picnics to poolside, homemade trail mix is always a smart choice for a summertime snack! The key to making an energy-boosting mix is to use nutritious fruits (like strawberries from Naturipe Farms!), vegetables, nuts, and seeds.
