Prep the Strawberries: Make sure your strawberries are dry and clean.
Slice the strawberries. The bigger, the better, for that heart shape!
Create two small holes at the top of each strawberry (for the heart's "valentine" point). Use a knife to slice the bottom of the strawberry into a heart shape.
If needed, pat the strawberries dry with a paper towel and lay them on a piece of wax paper or parchment paper.
