Gingerbread Dog Treats
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp flaxseed oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tbsp ginger finely shredded
- 2 3/4 cups oat flour
- 1 3/4 cups water
Instructions
- In one bowl, combine Flaxseed oil, olive oil, water and honey and mix together.
- In a second bowl, combine Oat flour, ginger and cinnamon, and mix together.
- Slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredient bowl until all combined. It should form a soft dough.
- Pour mixture into a clean bowl and use cling wrap to cover. Place in fridge for 3 hours.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking tray.
- Remove chilled dough, sprinkle some oat flour out on wax paper and roll out mixture to approximately 1 cm thick.
- Use a gingerbread cookie cutter to cut out dough and place on lined baking tray.
- Bake 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.
