bag Grimmway Farms Cut & Peeled Baby Carrots

sliced deli turkey
8
ounces
cheddar or Colby Jack cheese

–12 food-safe skewers
Instructions
Open the bag of Grimmway Farms Cut & Peeled Baby Carrots. They are washed and ready to eat.
Cut the cheese into bite-sized pieces.
Fold or roll the turkey and cut it into smaller pieces.
Thread a baby carrot, turkey, and cheese onto each skewer, alternating ingredients.
Repeat until all ingredients are used.
Refrigerate until ready to serve or pack in a chilled lunchbox.

Notes
I used a
metal skewer
for the carrots pictured in this recipe and in the accompanying video.
Wooden skewers work too, but blanching the carrots first makes them easier to pierce.
Use your favorite cheese or deli meat to customize the skewers.
For young children, consider using shorter food-safe picks or cutting the ingredients into age-appropriate pieces.
If using wooden skewers:
Blanch the carrots for 2–3 minutes, cool them completely in an ice bath, drain and pat dry before threading.
