Instructions
To make the cranberry simple syrup, bring water, sugar, and cranberries to a boil in a small saucepan. Boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
Muddle orange wedges and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Add 4 ounces of the cranberry simple syrup and gin. Shake for 20 seconds.
Pour mixture into two ice-filled high ball glasses. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with orange peel and mint sprigs.
