ginger
peeled and sliced

juice and zest

Splenda

red sweet port
can substitute water or juice

Instructions
Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat. Bring to a boil and stir occasionally.
Once sauce thickens, about 10 minutes, remove ginger and add a pinch of salt. Remove from heat.
