Remove Chlorine and  Relieve Sunburn with Tomatoes

We love eating tomatoes. But did you know that this juicy, versatile fruit is good for more than just cooking?

Tomatoes can help soothe your sunburned skin and fix your  green hair! We’ll share two recipes that will help you recover when you’ve had a bit too much summer fun.

Ingredients

Hair Rinse for  Green Hair:

- tomatoes - lemons - water

Wash and rinse tomatoes In a large stock pot, add the tomatoes and water.  Bring to a boil for 7-8 minutes.

Use a colander to remove seeds and skin. Bring to room temperature and add  lemon juice.

To use:

In shower, apply to areas of the hair that are green.  Let it sit for 10 minutes.  Rinse, then wash and condition hair like normal.

- tomatoes - Greek yogurt

Wash and rinse tomatoes. In a large stock pot, add the tomatoes and water.  Bring to a boil for 7-8 minutes.

Using a colander to remove seeds and skin. Bring to room temperature, add in Greek yogurt.

To use:

Apply a thick layer to your sunburned area and leave it on for 5-10 minutes, then wipe it off with a clean, damp towel and moisturize well.
