This recipe is simple, but there’s more to it than simply skewering a mango! This classic Mexican street food is also called a Mango Flower.

With careful slicing you can turn a skewered mango into a unique, eye-catching snack that’s fun and easy to eat!

Tajin powder


Peel mango using a knife or sharp vegetable peeler.


Slice a couple of inches off rounded end of mango and insert wooden skewer into the exposed seed centered.

Use a knife to make small slices in the mango for the “petals”.

Drizzle lime juice over the mango and dust with Tajin powder. Plate with sliced limes as a garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy!
