– Strawberries, washed and dried – White chocolate – Red, Green, yellow food coloring – Candy eyes – Black icing writer/pen
Step 1 Start by melting the chocolate in the microwave in :30 second increments. You will want to make sure it is melted and smooth before dipping. Next, divide the the white chocolate into 3 bowls.
Step 2 Next, add food coloring to make green chocolate. We used about 12 drops of green food coloring.
Step 3 Once the chocolate is the color you are looking for, dip the strawberry into the chocolate and immediately add candy eyes. If icing hardens too fast, just add a little melted chocolate to eyes as a glue. Repeat the process for as many Frankenstein strawberries as you’d like to create.
Step 4 Using writing gel add the details!
Step 5 Next, make orange chocolate. Mix red and yellow food coloring to make it orange. We used 7 drops of yellow and 4 drops of red.
Step 6 Once the strawberry is covered in orange chocolate, use the black icing to add details.
Step 7 To create a strawberry ghost, dip the strawberry in white chocolate. Then, add the candy eyes. Then, either place a black sprinkle or use black icing to create the mouth and any other details you wish!
