– 2 packages Bare Beans Naked Black Beans – 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil – 1 jalapeno pepper diced (ribs and seeds removed) – 1 small yellow onion diced – 3 garlic cloves minced – 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin – 1 teaspoon chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder – 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika – 1/2 cup bread crumbs – 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded (skip if vegan) – 2 large eggs – 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce – 2 Tablespoons BBQ sauce – Pinch salt + pepper

Step 6 Form into patties– about 1/3 cup of mixture in each. In batches, place patties on greased tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until lightly browned, 4-5 minutes. Turn; cook until lightly browned, 4-5 minutes longer.
