Strawberry Christmas Trees
A festive Christmas tree appetizer with strawberries is a fun way to get everyone in the kitchen this holiday season. Kid-approved and with only five ingredients – this recipe is sure to be your new holiday favorite.

Ingredients
- 18 large strawberries
- 24 oz dark green candy melts
- 18 Oreos (mint Oreo would be best)
- 1/2 cup multi-colored nonpareils
- 18 yellow star candies
Instructions
- Place your Oreos in a single layer on a serving plate. Wash and dry your strawberries. Slice the stem off of each strawberry.
- Heat the green candy melts according to the package directions, reheating as necessary to keep the mixture dippable.
- Pierce a strawberry with a fork and dip it in the candy mixture until it's coated in green. Tap the fork on the side of the bowl to prevent dripping.
- Sprinkle with nonpareils and use a second fork to place the strawberry onto the center of the Oreo.
- Quickly top with a yellow star on top.
- Repeat with all of your strawberries and serve!
