16fresh basil leaves
2tbspextra virgin olive oil

Instructions
Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Oil & Season Flatbreads: Brush both sides of the store-bought flatbreads with extra virgin olive oil. Place 2 tablespoons of minced garlic on both flatbreads. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Par-Bake the Crust: Place the oiled and seasoned flatbreads on the prepared baking sheet. Par-bake them in the preheated oven for 8 minutes. This helps them get slightly crispy before adding the toppings.
Cool Slightly: Remove the par-baked flatbreads from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. This will make them easier to handle.
Add Cheese & Tomatoes: Top each flatbread with slices of fresh mozzarella cheese and halved NatureSweet® Glorys® cherry tomatoes. Distribute the toppings evenly between both flatbreads, ensuring every bite has a taste of each ingredient.
Bake Until Cheesy: Place the topped flatbreads back in the oven and bake for an additional 8 minutes, or until the mozzarella cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden in spots.
Cool & Finish: Remove the baked Caprese flatbreads from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
Add Fresh Basil & Balsamic Glaze: Top each warm flatbread with fresh basil leaves. Sprinkle with a little more sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Finally, drizzle generously with balsamic glaze.
Serve: Cut each flatbread into 4 pieces for an entree serving or 8 pieces for a delightful appetizer. Serve immediately and enjoy the vibrant flavors!

Notes
Ingredients for Homemade Balsamic Glaze:1 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional, for added sweetness and thickness)
Instructions:Combine Ingredients: In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar (if using).
Simmer & Reduce: Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat.
Thicken: Continue to simmer, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes, or until the balsamic vinegar has reduced by about half and has thickened to a syrupy consistency. It should coat the back of a spoon. Be careful not to over-reduce, as it will thicken further as it cools.
Cool: Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the balsamic glaze cool completely. It will become thicker as it cools.
Store: Store any leftover balsamic glaze in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
