Instructions
Toasting Walnuts
Preheat the air fryer to 325 degrees F.
Arrange the walnuts in a single layer in the air fryer basket or baking tray.
Insert the air fryer basket and toast the walnuts for three minutes.
When the walnuts are toasted, transfer them to a cutting board or plate to cool.
Put the toasted and cooled walnuts in a food processor and pulse for 30 seconds until you reach a breadcrumb-like consistency.
Walnut-Crusted Chicken Tenders
Transfer the walnut breadcrumbs to a mixing bowl. Add the parmesan cheese, dried spices, and salt and mix until combined.
Coat each chicken tender with the walnut breading, pressing the mixture into the chicken so it sticks.
Lay the breaded tenders evenly in the air fryer basket and spray with cooking oil. Air fry for 12 minutes at 425℉ until the breading is lightly browned.
