Instructions
Preheat oven to 350⁰ F
Combine flour, baking powder/soda and salt in a small bowl
In a separate larger bowl, combine shortening (or butter) and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, mix well until creamy
Gradually add the flour mixture
Stir in chocolate chips, oats, coconut, walnuts, and dried cherries
Mix well and drop dough by rounded tablespoon onto a greased baking sheet
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown
