North Bay blueberries

olive oil

sweet onion
diced

cloves
garlic

tomato paste

honey

brown sugar

smoked paprika

ginger powder

Instructions
Sauté the onions in olive oil until the onions are soft and translucent.
Adding garlic to the onion and olive oil mixture
Add garlic and cook until fragrant which will be about 30 seconds.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cook on medium heat until the blueberries are soft and the sauce has reduced and thickened (20-30 minutes).
Mash the blueberry mixture with a potato masher until the blueberries are broken down and mixture is combined.
For a smooth sauce, cool slightly and place in blender to puree.
Serve over your favorite pork chop, ribs, chicken thighs or grilled chicken breasts.
