Ingredients
1 3/4cupsmilk
2large eggs
1/2cuppure maple syrup
1/4cupunsalted buttermelted and slightly cooled
1/4cupunsweetened applesauce
3cupsold-fashioned oatswhole
1tspbaking powder
2tspground cinnamon
1tsppure vanilla extract
1/4tspsalt
1cupapplesdiced
1/2cupchopped walnuts
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×9” or 11×7” baking pan with nonstick spray.
Whisk all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour into the baking pan. Top with chopped walnuts.
Bake for 35 minutes or until the center appears almost set for a softer, gooier consistency. If you prefer your Baked Oatmeal drier and more solid, bake until the center has set.
Cool for 5 minutes before serving. Slice and serve with yogurt or fruit, if desired. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to a week.
