Make a well in the dry ingredients, and mix in the wet ingredient mixture until it’s combined. Using a cheese grater, grate the peeled & cored Apple. Fold grated it into the batter.
Prepare the waffle iron with a non-stick spray or by brushing melted butter. Ladle batter mixture into the waffle iron, and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
You can also freeze the apple cinnamon waffles. The waffles can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Thaw the waffles in the refrigerator overnight when you are ready to use.
