Ingredients
2tablespooncoconut oil
3KIKU® applescored and sliced thin in rings
3KANZI® applescored and sliced thin in rings
3/4cupmaple syrup
1 1/2teaspoonallspice
2Tgranulated sugar
1/3cupbrown sugar
1/2cupDijon mustard
2whole cinnamon sticks
19-pound precooked, sugar-cured, bone-in ham
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine brown sugar and mustard.
Cut away some of the fat on ham and peel away hide. Score ham in criss-cross fashion; Rub mustard mixture over meat. place in a roasting pan and pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of pan.
Bake, uncovered, about 45 minutes.
While the ham is in the oven, heat coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add KIKU® and KANZI® apple rings, maple syrup, sugar and allspice. Give it a stir and add in the cinnamon sticks.
Reduce the heat to low; cook until apples begin to caramelize.
Spoon apple glaze over ham and continue baking 45 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before carving.
