Ingredients
1lblean ground beef
1bell pepperdiced
1oniondiced
1 15ozcan diced tomatoes
2ctomato sauce
1cbeef broth
½tspthyme
½tspsage
1tspsalt
1tspblack pepper
1cupwhite ricecooked
Instructions
In a large pot brown ground beef.
Once almost cooked through add in onion and pepper, cooking until soft.
Add in tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, thyme, sage, salt and pepper. Be sure to stir.
Allow to simmer covered for 30 to 45 minutes.
Add in rice and stir.
Allow the rice to heat up for about 5 minutes before serving.
