We love that this Strawberry Salad is so bright and full of color! This salad recipe is a great basic recipe, however, feel free to change it up for what works for your family. We are also providing you with a simple Strawberry Vinaigrette recipe that is light, fresh, creamy and delicious!
– 4 cups spring mix – 1 pound flank steak, grilled and thinly sliced – 1 1/2 cups Naturipe strawberries, hulled and sliced – 1/2 cup candied pecans – 1/2 cup red onions, thinly sliced – 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
Step 1 Drizzle both sides of the flank steak with olive oil, kosher salt and pepper.
Step 2 Grill the flank steak on medium-high heat according to my recipe. Once the steak has rested, slice steak into thin pieces across the grain.
Step 3 In a small jar whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, apple cider vinegar, honey, strawberry preserves and black pepper.
Step 4 Arrange the spring mix in a large serving bowl. Arrange the flank steak on top of the salad base. Next, top with pecans and blue cheese crumbles. Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad and serve.
