Rainbow Swiss Chard Tart


For a unique and delicious recipe, try this Rainbow Swiss Chard Tart. It is perfect for a brunch, an appetizer or even a side dish.

The filling is a mixture of Swiss chard, onion, and cheese. With a recipe this good, you can expect it to be a family favorite.

– Olive oil – Onion – Puff pastry – Fresh ricotta – Shredded Gruyère – Shredded Swiss Cheese – Egg – Water


Heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan or over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook.


Stir frequently, until translucent, about 7 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Add garlic cloves and cook for 30 seconds. Add in the chopped Swiss Chard stems and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Add in the ribbon leaves. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, or until the leaves begin to wilt, approximately 10 minutes.
